Any Alan Partridge fans might be interested to know that a new film is being released called Alpha Papa on August 16th.

Check out a trailer here.

Just bumping this subject to the top in preparation of Greg's imminent viewing, and hopefully, review. :-)

My review will be both exhaustive and erroneous.

Wow. That was exhaustive and erroneous.

I don't know what I expected from Greg after-all... he can write a lengthy novel on someone's sherman habits, but when it comes to a review on a film we get a 4 word sentence.

That is truly an in depth and enlightening review Greg well done.  I think you should change jobs to be a film critic.

I can any assume Sherman habits interest him more.

It was really funny and sort of felt like a long episode of the TV program, which I consider a plus.

There were loads of laugh out loud moments but typically I was sat next to a Berkshire that was laughing at everything (apparently he found moments of silence amusing).

The only criticism I have is that it had that weird sort of distant sound quality that every British film seems to have. That aside well worth a watch.

Well thank-you, cheers, tar for that. Is it a cinema or rental watch then Greg?

I don’t think it would lose a lot in translation to the small screen really. Unless you were to watch it on my projector that is.

As a big Alan Partridge fan - I was a bit disappointed, no where near as good as the episodes.. ;-(

That's a shame. Think I will still end up getting it when it comes out to buy though anyway, as he is a good laugh.
