Had a peek on the Wiki and I reckon the gun that guy last night was using (the one that completely obliterated everything in sight) was either this or this. (Don't think you saw this one Maximus, think it was the game me and Hoover was playing before you joined up - but looked frelling amazing!)

It also looks like the only way to get them is through research using the clan Dojo.

The Dojo may have to be the way we go then. Considering there is 4.0 of us, and we may even be able to get some more on-board, maybe we should consider making one?

What you reckon guys?

I have no idea what you are on about i really need to get into this game a bit more i just don't have the time at the moment a shame as it very good.

So a Dojo is a sort of Clan where we can share stuff?  I feel the Clifford Clan needs to be born :-)

Well, we may as well start a clan. Even if we don't end up building a Dojo - as it won't hurt. That just means the Dojo can be built whenever we want. So, names then - we need a clan name. Here's a few I just thought of (some more serious than others):

Brotherhood of The Option
Peacekeepers
Smegheads
Breadeye Masters
Vae Victis
Assassins of Woe
Umbra Ninjas

Ok yes lets start a Clan so do we all have to put in materials/credits to build a Dojo?

I will have a think and see if i can add to your list of possible names

Read the Wiki I linked to. It explains it far better than I could.

So.... shall I just create the "Brotherhood of The Option" or "Breadeye Masters" clan then? Anyone got a preference?

Sounds good to me. As Greg seems to be mute I will go ahead and create it then.

You could spin it round and call it "The Option Brotherhood"?

I think that sounds better what do you think?

I am indifferent Greg as I think I will be giving Warframe a miss. I haven’t really engaged with it as much as you guys have so I will join you when you move onto something else.

That is a shame Greg, but then you are a tricky little swine. Is it all the wall-running? :-) What changed your mind about it? Thought you liked it?

Anyhow, the guild is made and invites sent to you lot.

Once you join, a "Guild Key" blueprint will appear in your Foundry. Create it and you can access the Clan Dojo.

Now to get to work on expanding it and creating the research rooms for all the kick-ass guns... :-)

I just find it a bit samey. Also the game experience for me consists of chasing you lot down empty corridors which has limited appeal.

Well it may help if you played it so you could level stuff up and get mods etc. Throwing money at it simply won't work in the long run (it only really gives you a headstart).

Hey-ho. Each to their own I suppose. So dies this mean you will no longer be playing it with us?

There in lays the problem, I don’t really like it enough to invest any time in upgrading stuff. The only time I play it is with you guys on Fridays.

I might play it for a little bit on Fridays with you but I think I will find something else to do until you guys have had your fill.

Okay, well in a last ditch effort to try and help you out Greg, I have compiled the following recommendations for you (brought to you in part by the Option Brothers) to try and make your Warframing experience a little better:

1. Buy/craft Rhino or Frost. Reason: They take loadsa damage and dish out loads too (load 'em up with Redirection and Vitality mods). You will find you will be "contributing" more and dying less. This should hopefully increase your enjoyment factor (and hard-on size).
2. We plow on through the levels so we unlock newer planets. Reason: Less "samey", as the levels will be different and you will see NEW things!
3. Suck my cock. Reason: I live for such things.
4. If you can, try and level up your frames and weapons you like. Reason: Pew Pew!
5. Buy/craft a Hek Shotgun. Seriously. Once levelled it becomes a one-shot-kill weapon. I love it. BEST. GUN. IN. GAME. PERIOD. ..
6. Buy/craft some frame/weapon potatoes for the good stuff. Reason: 2 mod slots per level instead of 1. Helps greatly for anything and everything (more Pew pew. Less "brown").

Well I will give it a try. As for the contributing part, I was watching everyone’s health and topping you up (yourself included Greg) and during those defence missions you guys would have been down and brown a fair few times.

That said I think I was only doing about 3% damage so that could do with improvement. The difficulty I have is that my weapons take an entire clip to down one enemy so you guys plough everything down before I can get any kills.

Also as I have purchased all my stuff it all comes pre spudded.

I was not disputing the help you gave us Greg - and I am sure we all appreciated it. We would probably of not fared so well without your help. The point I was trying to make was that you would probably get more enjoyment out of helping to kill stuff, than sitting in a corner topping us up with health. Even if we died more - I am sure it would be more enjoyable for you. That's my 2.0 cents anyway.

Ah, yes, forgot about that.

So what setup were you rocking when we last played Greg? In an effort to try and help you out I may be able to offer some suggestions.

I don’t mind doing the support thing but as you observed, the only way I could stay out of trouble was to crouch in the corner and shoot the stuff that was concentrating on you guys.

Set up……….errr I think it was:

Trinity – level 9 when I left it.

Twin Viper – level 15 ish

Twin heat sword - level 20ish

Grakata – level 15ish

Also I have a Strun shotgun but it is only level 6 or summin.

...and it's completely do-able. Just need to work on your weapons by the looks of things. Any of the offensive frames can help you with your damage output if your weapons are lacking - and crowd control stuff seems to be fairly important in this game. Trinity did not seem to have any "room clearers" when I looked at her abilities. You may want to look at a frame that does to help when the shit hits the fan. E.g. Frost's "Avalanche", Rhino's "Stomp", Nyx's "Absorb" etc...

Anyhoo. I can see a pattern emerging in your weapon choices here. Both your primary and secondary's are both ammo chewers. While it's fine to have one, it's probably not a good idea to have two of them at once. Balance out your primary and secondary to cover the other's weakness if you can.

For a primary, your best bet might be the Braton or Hek (Braton is a bit more ammo hungry though). Fill 'em up with as many damage mods as possible - Main, Fire, Electric, Frost etc. and most importantly, fusion them. General guideline is that a single higher level mod is generally better than 2 lower ones. Sure, they will start off lacklustre like any weapon, but they are both good solid weapons that you should give a go.

For secondary, the Twin Vipers are best used for bosses I've found, since they have an extremely high burst DPS, but it won't last long before you are out of ammo. They are decent weapons, but you really need to go easy on the trigger finger or else you will end up out of ammo in a second. Mod it up with the usual damage mods, but also a max ammo mod - which you want to fusion to high-heaven. Other than that I can suggest the Aklato. Basic, semi-auto pistols, but surprisingly effective when modded. They also will not burn through ammo too fast.

Your melee weapon is a solid choice in any level - although you should definately stick on the mod that reduces charge time, since the Dual Heat Swords have quite a high charge damage - you want to make use of it.

Strun is an okay weapon - but the Hek is a far superior shotgun.

Hope this helps.
