Now the wedding is done, uni is done and I am chilling out a bit more, I have started to see a few more films again; I'll try and give you a short review and 'Andy rating' on each....

Cinema:

"Grown Ups 2" - Not a great film, but ok for killing time I suppose. Nothing major really happens throughout the whole thing, so you come away feeling a little empty (although I was hoping to empty myself over Adam Sandlers wife - (Salma Hayek) or even April Rose - google her, you wont be disappointed...) Only 4/10 and it gets that just for the ever lasting memory of the two fine actresses.

Cinema:

"Wolverine" - I had my reservations about this one, but was nicely surprised... quality storyline, and a nice bit of ninja'esque scenes going on. A solid 8/10 I reckon...

Cinema:

"Kick Ass 2" - We decided to record the first one off the TV so we could remind ourselves exactly what it was. It was a good idea, as it turns out that I must of thought the first one was easily forgettable, mainly as I forgot about it. Kick ass 2 is pretty much along the same lines (no surprise there) except the young girl who was in the first one, has got a bit taller. Highly advertised with Jim Carrey, but he doesn't really play a major part (and I had to convince Jen that the chap on screen was actually Jim Carrey). Kept me entertained, but it's not something I could watch over and over again. 6/10

Ah some reviews of epicness there. Thank-you, cheers, tar for that! Out of the ones you posted, I did want to see Kick Ass 2 since I enjoyed the first one quite a lot. By the sounds of it it's not very good then? Wolverine I will probably see too, but I wasn't too impressed with the first one.

I look forward to more reviews from our regular film critique :-)

It's like anything - all depends on your personal taste although if your a fan of the first one then you might really enjoy it, as it is quite similar...!

Cinema:

"Mortal Instruments - City of Bones" - Billed as a fantasy adventure type film, my view was that it was some sort of cross between Buffy the vampire slayer and Twilight. To be honest, for the 2 hours it ran it kept me fairly interested nice mixture of vampires, warlocks, werewolves and the shadow hunters - in which the story appears to be centred around (people who hunt demons in the mortal world). It did on times try to be a more romantic / touchy touchy type film like Twilight, but it did manage to mix this up a little more closer to the end. It was clear by the time it finished that this is going to be the first of a series of films, there was lots of unanswered questions that I expect will be tackled later. Not a bad watch. (By the way - If you watch it and wonder who the shadow hunters mum is - it's the Queen from Game of Thrones) 6/10
