Well I must say, the special is looking to be very good. I can't wait to watch it. Don't know if anyone is remotely interested (and has not seen them yet), but here are two trailers for it that you may find to your liking:

Yes they look really good. I am looking forward to this. And that special mini episode with the Eighth Doctor was absolutely brilliant. A true fan-service is being paid to us here!

I do think it's a real shame that we didn't see more from McGan. Although he came into it at a bad time, he himself was a really good doctor and I wished we had seen more of him. Seeing him in that special was nothing short of pure awesomeness! In a way, I think it would have been better to have had him back in the part when it got renewed in 2005 (instead of Ecclesten).

Another minisode!Called "The Last Day". It is 3 minutes long, showing the start of the Great Time War on Galifray.

The Last Day was okay, but nothing compared to the last minisode - did you watch it in the end?

Also, did you watch that Doctor Who special "An Adventure in Space and Time" last night Maximus? Was quite good.

Yea the last day wasn't all that not as good as the last one.

I didn't see that but i did record it so will probably watch it over the weekend.  Also new episode of Walking Dead tonight so much good TV atm

Glad you enjoyed it. I think it also brings new hope for the next Doctor.

Bits I loved:

- 13 Doctors + 13 Tardis' at once =
- Tennant being back re-enforces my opinion that he was a brilliant Doctor
- Tennant and Smith's banter was spot on
- Tom Baker!
- Bad Wolf
