Games for Windows Live will apparently be shutting down soon. I myself have hated this since release, so I am glad they are finally pulling the plug on this pointless and irritating "service".
It's good news and bad news. The bad news being that some older games will
NOT be playable after the shutdown because certain developers can't be arsed to fix their games.
