This is true, although not enough Goldblum. Surly they have learnt their lesson regarding the alien franchise by now. We haven't had a good movie in 29 years!

Tell me about it, not sure how they are going to pull that one off... unless everything from 3 onwards was all a dream or something weird like that. Time will tell. It is set for around 2018 release so quite a while to wait for this one.

The plot thickens. So, basically, "Alien 5" is no more (or had breaks applied), and instead, we are getting a new trilogy of Alien films set 10 years after Prometheus (and featuring some of the same cast, following on from the events of said film) and directed by Ridley Scott. My god this really could be a disaster if he continues down the "Prometheus" route.

EDIT: In one of those articles, Scott is quoted saying "Star Wars will be a juggernaut. Why do you think I’m doing sequels?". If this doesn't worry you, then I don't know what will. He sounds like he is in it for the money and nothing else, backtracking on everything he has said thus far and putting Alien 5 on hold for his own films - which were not originally meant to be Alien films in the first place. O dear.
