Those of you in the 21st century may have noticed some changes to the site of late. Specifically for devices with small screens (mobiles and tablets), although some very slight adjustments have been made to the full-size layout. The site should now snap to 1 of 3 different layouts depending on the screen width. You can go ahead and try it now - even in a browser window, if you make it narrower you should see the styles being switched to optimise space and make things readable even at really low widths.

You may have also noticed the Steam Users online thingy is gone. It shall not be coming back any time soon.

Note: It is very possible you will need to refresh the website to load in the new stylesheet - or else things could look weird.

Try it out! Feedback appreciated.

My reasoning for removing it was as follows:

1. As my Steam friend list grows, so does this - no-one (even me) really needs to know all that information.

2. There was little point to it (it served no real purpose), even less so for anyone but me since if you want to see who on your friends list is online, you go to Steam instead. If you used it for checking when one of us was on, Mumble users online was a better bet - since you know if one of us is on Mumble that they are ready/willing to play with others.

3. It streamlines the main page a bit more - having 3 sections for different users online (website, Mumble and Steam) was (I thought) overkill. When I was doing all these recent stylesheet changes to the website it occurred to me that the amount of space all this used to take up on the screen (especially on mobiles) was significant.

4. Less maintenance. I got tired of re-jigging the program whenever Steam alter their website (it happens every few months).

I take it by that comment that you want it back then? Did you find it useful?
