Just wondered what everyone is doing regarding the 'security key' that comes with collectors edition / bought for 8 squid.
Who is using it? Should I bother setting it up? Is it more trouble than it's worth?

I dont know i have downloaded the digital version of the security key from itunes to my podi but i have not set it up yet.
I know if you have you get access to an in game vendor who allegedly has good unique items but like you said it might be more trouble than its worth. What if you security key thing stops working no play time
What do you think?

I am more worried if this 'key machine' (or your podi) breaks, gets wet, battery runs out, gets lost etc - you won't be able to play!

I'm using it on my iPad, works ok,I think it's worth it for the extra security. Hopefully an Android version will be available soon.

Do you get access to any half decent items from this special vendor? I probably will set it up, just wanted to see what everyone else was doing (and thought of it) before I did.

I did see a silly pet that you can buy, but I've not bothered with that yet (maybe when I'm top level and flush with cash). There was a few other things on the vendor, but I can't remember how good they were.

So i thought i would have a look at this last night whilst i was waiting in the queue !!!
I downloaded the app from itunes for my podi only to find that it only works on the newer ipod touch not my older classic one.
So unless i buy a physical key or a new ipod no security key for me.
They could always do an android app

I heard android version is on the way. I signed up for it in the end - all seems to be working OK.

Downloaded the iphone app. Works fine. Not much to buy though. A set of orange clothing for an imperial dancer (female only), a few vanity bits and bobs and a mount if any of you have 1.5 mil spare credits knocking about.
