So, what with the recently released SCL - our Friday game seems to have gone to pot of late. Here's where I am at: While playing this Friday (another awesome RP session by the way), the nostalgia factor hit us. It was decided that for the coming weeks/months, Friday will be NWN night. This is something I have tried to get you guys to play in the past - and I had given up (even though I was going to give you the game for nothing). It's my favourite game of all time - bar none. It's that game I can never leave alone for too long before I have to play it again. It's like an addiction. Turns out that everyone I have been playing SCL with of late also loves the game. When I mentioned playing it co-op, everyone blew their load (I may have done too).

I digress... every Friday at around 7pm 'till late, 4 of us will be running through NWN (then its expansions) and then NWN 2 (and its expansions). Unknown at present how long this will take - and if everyone will be in for the long haul (but we can find others who would want to join, I am sure). Thing is, by the time we have finished this, tile-by-tile, branching dialogue and all those other lovely things in the roadmap will be out for SCL - so I will probably come back to that for some epic module making with those guys as well.

It is safe to say that this might put Friday's out of the question for me to play with you guys for a considerable amount of time - since unfortunately, none of you guys want to play SCL or NWN.

I just thought I would let you guys know the situation. If any of you do change your mind and fancy getting involved in SCL or NWN with us, then please do let me know. Otherwise, Friday gaming night is now NWN and SCL night for a while.

I know Greg is EVEing it up some, so it probably won't exactly be an issue for you anyway, but just wanted to speak to you all about it anyway. Dyson - god knows where he has gone again, so not really bothered there either.

One last thing: wear a bra?

I do play SCL its all i have played for the last 2-3 weeks?

No bother Jeg, you do what you want to do. Sounds like you are going to be busy for a while.

To be honest freeing up Friday for a whilst will be good for me as I want to hopefully get a house sorted out before Christmas so games would have been put on the back burner for a bit anyway.

Easy tiger. You haven't played with us though - multiplayer (bar like one session). We have been doing regular scheduled RP games, which I mentioned to you. Anyway, the post was mainly about NWN, then SCL when they bring out the community updates.

Cool, I just didn't want to step on anyone's toes - and wanted to make sure you were all aware of where I was at.

Two sessions actually, i can only comit to RP games on Friday due to the time they take and the 3 Fridays since it has been released i have been on twice

I am getting a bit pissed off with living under someone else’s roof now, and I have managed to save up a mammoth deposit so I want to buy a place. Probably end up in the nice (relatively speaking) part of Shitham as it’s a bit closer to work. Found a big 3 bedroom place with a double garage that needs some work and has no chain, so just need to get my mortgage offer updated and get cracking.

So you are not playing toast until it is updated? I thought it had been released like 5 times already so assumed it would be good to go now.

Ah cool - but Witham? Really? The place is a dump. Shitham it is indeed. Why not Braintree or Colchester or something - anywhere near there is better.

I don't blame you wanting to get out of renting though. I found it difficult to warrant spending money on a place when it wasn't yours. You should have a housewarming when you get in and settled Greg.

As for SCL - they have said they are bringing out some massive updates later this year. It has been released, but they said they will continue to work on it post-release to make it even better due to the tight release schedule. I am still playing it, yes, but module creation and DMing I may wait a bit on. I am happy to play other people's modules and the campaign though. NWN takes priority due to how awesome it is (I actually do wish SCL was more like NWN than it currently is).

Like I said, nice bits relatively speaking. I need to be closer to Basildon but that is even worse. Unfortunately Colchester and Braintree are too far away, I don’t like Chelmsford and anywhere including and past Chelmsford is stupidly expensive.

House warming may have to wait a while as if I get the place I am after it is will be a fucking dump for a while!

Just been thinking on some of the games to try out with our Friday game night (there are quite a few - in order of my preference). Putting them up here to get ideas and find out what you guys are interested in...

- The Red Solstice (not tried multiplayer yet, looks like it could be good)
- Vermintide (ongoing - not had a game with all 4 of us yet either)
- Kerbal Space Program (would love to try multiplayer)
- Medieval Engineers (had for ages, not even tried it yet)
- NWN 1/2 (I know you guys are not interested in this, but it's on my list as there is loads more to try)
- Planet Explorers (kinda revisit, although never played much in the first place)
- Project Zomboid (revisit)
- Running With Rifles (ongoing)
- Sword Coast Legends (revisit - campaign co-op or module runs)
- GRAV (revisit)
- Grim Dawn (revisit)

Running with rifles was good fun, and I quite liked Grav.

I am happy with any of these but would like to see what has been done to Grav as i liked it too

Cool. So Vermintide, Running With Rifles and GRAV. I do also want to give this Red Solstice a go though.

Does this mean it is time to start up the GRAV server again?
