poor show BTW from Virgin themselves, I would have thought they'd pwn you with some defense from a customer service rep to reassure everyone else that may read the thread that their service is indeed as grand as they keep saying.

anyways, Mark, was wondering (in the wake of last night) if you were going to go to the lengths Jimbo did to suggest your connection is proper 'ed rather than the best connection available as advertised.

Meg had an issue with his internet (late night mind you, so it wasn't a biggie). That's when I told G-Man all about how unbelievably shit Virgin are - and gave him that link to the thread of ultimateness.

Yes my internet was down until around lunch time Saturday after that it seemed to be ok and in fact i played Division for about 4 hours Saturday with no issue touch wood fingers crossed.  If i have another problem i will contact them

Saying that my Virgin account is up in a couple of months and Sky is on a rolling conttract and i am going to review my in house entertainment when that happens as i pay quite a bit and don't feel i use it enough when i could get Plusnet for example and use Netflicks for all my TV needs and save myself £60-£70 a month

I have to say Jims thread/rant is epic and i can't beleive they didn't shut him down or answer him or anything quite amazing

Yes, that thread is indeed epic. It seems pretty clear that they knew something was wrong their end and just did their best to skirt around the issue, hoping I would go away. Well, I did, eventually - and they lost a customer out of it as well.

As for you switching, I have only good things to say (so far, touch WOOD) about PlusNet, so would recommend them. Saying that, Sky is meant to be pretty good too - and if you are sticking with them it may be an idea since you could get it cheaper.

But yes, Sky is expensive. Myself and Emma have considered getting rid of it several times. Thing is, there is still a lot of stuff we use it for:

Walking Dead
Game of Thrones
Fear the Walking Dead
Agents of Shield
All the kids stuff
etc..

Anyway, I just hope you do not have to go through all the shit I did with them. I would not wish that on anyone.

It did indeed. Awesome fun game playing with the G-Man and Maximus. Gotta tip my hat to the man of G for persuading me to buy it. A good call.

P.S. Some of our tactics that night were spot on. I have found that me and Dyson are very similar in our tactics though, and often find ourselves doing exactly the same thing - like running to the same bits of cover, chucking grenades at the same place/time (cluster frell 'em). Quite funny actually.
