The more I read about Windows 8 the more I think there will be a huge backlash when it is released (October 26 2012).

The 'merging' of a tablet and phone OS with a desktop OS is just not the right way to go. They are used for completely different purposes and in completely different ways.

I vote EPIC fail - and I really hope it falls with such a bang!

Looks like Microsoft have finally realised that Windows 8 sucks - something we were all saying ages ago. Check out this article for more information on the new "Windows Blue" that is to be released later this year - heralding a major u-turn for the crappy Win 8 OS.

Couple this with the recent XBox One disaster and you have to worry for their future!

O dear Bill is not going to like that this is quite a brutal article.

So windows 8.0 fail windows 8.1?  I don't know about this OS to be honest i don't mind a tiled interface on phones and tablets etc but for PC i like it old school!

This all depends really if you are the sort of person that likes windows 8.0 bur?

The funny thing is, this is the first Windows OS that he has not been even the slightest bit involved with during development. Looks to me like he needs to fire the idiots that let this thing get as far as it did!
