I am not really one for these long series so my sphere of experience is limited to the wanking dead, and baking sad.

To be honest Breaking bad is probably a bit more adult than the two you suggested. Doesn’t necessarily make it better but in my opinion vampires and werewolves should be avoided at all costs for fear of yackage.

A chemistry teacher gets diagnosed with cancer and is give a few months to live. He is poor and wants to make sure his family are looked after when he dies so he starts making crystal meth.

Because he is so good at chemistry the meth he makes is the nuts but he has no idea how the world of drugs works so continually fucks up.

It is only 5.0 series and tracks him from mild mannered teacher to Scarface.

Finished watching Series 3 the other night. It was brilliant! I loved the whole thing with the Governor and hope to see him again in series 4. Can't wait for the next series - which apparently starts in mid October - sweet!

Yes you had better get watching! I think you will like this one Mark. Me and Emma really enjoyed it. Series 1 and 3 are superb. 2 is okay, but a bit slow at times.

Like Greg said, series 1.0 is fantastic, Series 2.0 is a bit wank but stick with it, series 3.0 is great and series 4.0……..yet to be seen.

Superb! As previously mentioned, 2 can be a bit slow, but persist with it as it gets better towards the end. Series 3 is the nuts.
