Yea started watching episode 2 and was not that impressed it seems to be struggling a bit at present which i suppose is not surprising given the end of last season!

It was a drastic change of pace, I'll give you that. To be honest though - that is exactly what I thought would happen (and also what they always do - cut away to another thread for a few episodes after or before a big event). It seems clear that it will all build up to a major confrontation with Neegan at some point, once they have a few of the other "houses" onboard.

An okay opener last night I suppose. Although I can't help but notice how long (and how many opportunities) they had to kill Neegan in that one and didn't. Just shoot him already! Then Rick got a bad case of the "Stormtrooper Aiming Syndrome" (SAS) and was missing everything. I mean what the hell!?

Yeah series 7 was a difficult one to watch indeed. 8 has been fairly good so far though - and we are on the tail-end of it now. Some crazy-ass shit is going down.
