The first one is dirt cheap and well worth a look, the atmosphere in the game is second to none.

You can have a lend of it if you like Greg. That is unless it is so cheap now it's not worth the hassle.

Given that I now have no games to play as I have completed them all, does anyone have any recommendations for my next purchase? I was thinking of getting that Dead Island Riptide - worth it? Or is there something else I should be looking at?

EDIT: Battlefront 2 is £6.50 on Steam...? Also, the reviews for Dead Island Riptide are awful across the board, so I am not sure about that. :-(

Stalker shadow of Chernobyl (I believe Markus from borderlands was based on the trader guy in stalker) or Stalker - call of Pripyat. Both absolutely fantastic games and the former should be really cheap now.

Cool I will take a look for that one. Given the absence of Greg I already ordered Battlefront 2 but if Stalker is cheap I may pick that up too.

What's the gist of Stalker then?

You should give Bioshock 2 a go the first one was good and the second one was only a couple of quid when i looked a few weeks back.

Prehaps you should have a good look Battlefield 4 i have to say i am very tempted was looking last night.  Although this isn't out till September i think.

What about Homeworld 2?

Battlefield 4 I will almost certainly get but it ain't out yet. I am looking for something now, not half a year down the line!

Homeworld 2 I am not too interested in. Bioshock 2 is a possibility though, as I loved the first one.

Anyway, got Battlefront 2 to play for a bit now. Let's see if it is any good.

Well I must admit to being a bit bored of Dead Island ATM. I gave it a try last night but could not bring myself to continuing with my new character.

As such, it looks like it's mix-it-up-time... but, what to play...

Depending on how Xmas goes, I may also pick up AC (as per SeeJay's recommendation) or Battlefield 4...
