An interesting reply to my recent post in the official EM forums:

I'm on Virgin Media cable and get kicked fairly regularly even from Galactica (ping 30 - 40 and in the same country!! (UK)) :-D

Frequent saves and chanting relaxing mantra's are the closest to a solution I've found; the really frustrating bit it that I get disconnected but am only told about it when I try to do something major - like trade in a station, so I might be 'by myself' for 20 minutes before I find out! :-P

Like you I find getting VM 'help' to be as frustrating as sourcing hens' teeth and unicorn horns. :-D

Well I have officially had enough of Virgin Media and will be cancelling to go with Plusnet within the next week or so. My thread is simply being ignored / fobbed off by Virgin, who seem so inept at their job that I may as well be talking to a sandwich. If you fancy a laugh, have a look at the thread in their forum I posted before. It's badong.

My findings exactly - it simply seems like they are overloaded during peak times. Anyway, we will see what the network engineers make of all this. I won't be hanging around either if this doesn't get sorted within a week.

Since numty built a million stations it takes like 10 secs to load the home page TCT.
