Check out your personal page, under "Account" for info on the Mumble server. Not really much to it :-)

Got all the info and will set it up. Thanks mate.

I saw that your little cool gadget presents the cargo with it's name instead of a number.
How did you do that? Have you taken notes for all items or did you find a list
with all items numbers in game?

If so, any way you could send me a copy of that?

Excellent program by the way. What do you use to create such an artwork?
Been thinking about creating some stuff myself. I have some knowledge of programming
but I'm in no way any Pro and don't know what tools to use.

Thanks in advance for any hints you can provide.

You are welcome, hope to see you on soon!

I think you may have mis-read that one. One of the guys on the forum mentioned that a program called EM Tool did that. My program currently does not (although to implement thi would be a piece of cake if I had a "key" to what all the cargo abbreviations are).

Speaking of which though, when I tried this program out it displayed cargo in exactly the same way as my program - so I am not too sure if they are correct on that one.

As such, I have no such information to give you, sorry. However, if you do come across such info, I would be more than interested to know too :-)

I used Visual Studio 2010 Express to create that (and the EM Server manager). All Express versions of Visual Studio are free - so you can jump right in and get started without having to buy a thing (this is one thing I do like about Microsoft).

I myself prefer VB over C#. The differences between them have all but been eliminated in recent years. VB just has a much more logical "English-like" syntax - which is why I use that.

You can get it from here.

 Thanks man. Appreciate it.

I know a bit of C++ programming but I might test VB for myself as well.

I'll try to squeeze some time in and investigate if I can get a list of all items in the game.

Cheers, SeeJay

Cool, hope you get on okay. Try both languages out and just choose the one you feel more comfortable with.

And if you do manage to get hold of cargo info from anywhere I will add that feature into the EMH program :-)

Looking at the screenshot of your EMH program, the Bays do show the item name.
Metl, Mach, Elec etc.

How do you manage that? (When I use the HUD mod I only get the number for it.

That data is generated in the "savedata.txt" file. I performed no modifications what-so-ever to the data.

That's why I was a bit confused when they mentioned that on the other forum - since from what I have seen - that information is readily available and is shown in my EMH program.

Hmm, that is weird.
Maybe Vice has changed some things in the savedata file since I checked it out earlier
on when Evometrics was developed.

I'll look into it and do some tests when I'm home.
I've asked Vice regarding the items list and await his reply.
Some items might be "secret" so he might not hand out that list.

I'll come back when I know more.

Okay, cool.

Since people were talking about this "EM Tool" on there too, I was unsure whether people were referring to my EMH or EM Tool, lol. :-)

But, anyway, by all means try it out for yourself and let me know what you find.

I should be. I think even SeeJay may be from what he said, we will have to ask him....

I was thinking of a bit of Evochron or Alien Swarm. Or both...?

FYI: I did manage to take out 2 carriers in the end - with a lot of luck and time. The first one I took out, another friendly battleship turned up and helped me take it down.

The second one I managed to do on my own, with a lot of patience. A tricky task on your own, for sure.

Bit of both? I am going to see my internet connection is up to running EVE and Evochron at the same time.

Good job on the carrier.

Especially if you keep in mind that many veterans have problems with them as well.
I will be on and will join your game if I have it.

Currently I have Mercenary and Warframe that you guy's play.

Cool, I also highly recommend Alien Swarm. That is a great little co-op game that is free on Steam.

Agreed, although you don't like Warframe anyway, Greg.
